Josephine “Nena” Gonzalez, 94, of Bethlehem, died March 13, 2018. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of the late Eugene Gonzalez and Josefa (Vincente) and her husband the late Roman Garcia.

She was a graduate of Bethlehem Business School.

She was a secretary and translator in the mining department for the Bethlehem Steel until she retired. She then worked part-time for City Hall.

She was a member of Holy Infancy Catholic Church.

She is survived by a son, Eugene J. and his wife Marie Sacarakis; a daughter, Ramona L. Sacarakis; a daughter-in-law, Nancy Sacarakis; two grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband Jonathan Sands and Michael and his wife Christy Sacarakis; and three great-grandchildren, Isabella and Giada Perotti and Melania Sacarakis.

She was predeceased by a son, James E. Sacarakis; and two brothers, John and Eugene Gonzalez.
