John P. Praedin, 62, of Coplay, died March 4, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospice, Allentown. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Peter and Mary (Baranchak) Praedin.

He studied physics and chemical engineering at Lehigh University and accounting at Muhlenberg College.

He was a forklift operator for Ledvance, formerly Sylvania, in Bethlehem.

He is survived by a sister, Marie E. Praedin; a brother, Ronald and his wife Jackie Praedin; three nieces, Nicole and her husband John Kauker, Elizabeth Praedin and Lauren and her husband of Jeffrey Kormanik; a grand-nephew; and two grand-nieces.

He was predeceased by a brother, Peter.
