PARKING Public meeting set for March 21

There will be a public meeting regarding downtown parking at 6 p.m. March 21 at city hall, 10 E. Church St.

The City of Bethlehem and the Bethlehem Parking Authority requested Desman Design Management, a New York City consulting company, to review and evaluate the city’s Northside and Southside public parking.

The meeting will review the findings and the draft recommendations of the study. There will be a public input time.

Desman had, in early 2016, presented to the parking authority a Southside Parking Demand and Feasibility Study, which was instrumental in the decision to build a city garage at New Street and Graham Place.
