The annual Salisbury Township Easter Egg Hunt is scheduled 10 a.m. March 24 at Lindberg Park, weather permitting. This event is open to Salisbury residents ages three to 10. A registration form can be found at https://www.salisburytownshippa.org/township-news/2018-easter-egg-hunt. The form needs to be filled out and turned in to the Salisbury Township municipal building, 2900 S. Pike Ave., by March 21. The egg hunt is run solely by the township, not Salisbury Township School District.
Looking for some great entertainment at a reasonable price? Salisbury High School Theatre’s presentation of “Once Upon A Mattress” will be given 7 p.m. March 15, 16 and 17 and 3 p.m. March 18. For ticket information, contact Cherie Pennella at 610-797-4107, ext. 2508. Tickets can also be purchased at the door.
Western Salisbury Elementary School is inviting parents/guardians of the first grade class to lunch March 27. Lunch begins promptly 11:50 a.m. Enjoy the school lunch or bring your own. Either way, come and spend time with your first grader.
Spring concert time is upon us and WSE is kicking it off with the kindergarten, first and second grade concert 9:30 a.m. March 28 in the gym. Enjoy!
March 29 is now a snow make-up day, but at least it’s an early dismissal. SHS and Salisbury Middle School will dismiss 12:15 p.m. while Harry S Truman and WSE let the kiddies loose 1 p.m. Schools will be closed for the Easter break March 30 and April 2.
There is a curriculum and technology committee meeting 7 p.m. March 26 at WSE.
The Devonshire drop-off is open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 17 and 20.
