Sharon “Shinny” L. Pruzinsky, 71, of Walnutport, died March 5, 2018, in her home. She was the wife of Vincent Pruzinsky for 53 years.

Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Harry N. Dotterer and Geraldine (Reed) Dotterer-Moyer.

She owned and operated Sharon Pruzinsky Hairstyling and Shinny’s Jean Store in Northampton and East Allen Township.

She was an aide for John Stasko of Best Station and Spectrum Community Services Inc.

She was a member of the Coplay Saengerbund Austrian Chorus and a soloist for Northampton Community College Chorus.

She was a member of Assumption BVM Catholic Church, Slatington, where she sang with the choir.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Rose Marie Dorsey and her children, Christopher Dorsey and Jenna Marie VanScoten; a foster daughter, Denise Ritter and her children, Nicholas and Ryan; two great-granddaughters, Raygen Rose and Rowan Lee; three sisters, Carol, Mary and Gloria; and a brother, Kevin.

She was predeceased by her stepfather, Raymond Moyer; foster daughter, Sherri Bowlby; and a brother, Neil.

Arrangements were made by Reichel Funeral Home Inc., Northampton.
