Richard “Dick” Yost, 88, of Whitehall, died March 4, 2018. He was the husband of Theresa M. (Sattler) Yost for 64 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth (Zarecky) Yost.

He served with the U.S. Air Force during the Korean conflict.

He was a life member of Fullerton American Legion Post 367 and Fullerton Fire Company No. 1.

He was co-owner of Yost Bros. Surplus Sales, Whitehall, for many years, and earlier operated Yost Bros. Arco Station, Fullerton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Kathi Connors, Karen and her husband John Stevens and Nancy; two sons, Mark and Thomas; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a sister, Betty and her husband Dale Millham; a brother, Robert and his wife Joan; and extended family.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Shirley Snyder; and a brother, Frank.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. March 16 at Cedar Hill Memorial Park, section I, 1700 Airport Road, Allentown, 18109.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fullerton American Legion Post 367, 609 Fullerton Ave., Whitehall, 18052.
