Catasauqua: George Taylor group to meet
The George Taylor House Association will hold its next organizational meeting 7 p.m. March 15 in the community room of Catasauqua Municipal Complex.
All are welcome. Members who complete the membership form may vote for the board, bylaws and other items. Nominations may be taken from the floor.
The following members have accepted nominations for the following board positions: president, Amy Capwell; vice president, Karen Ferrante-Haas; secretary, open; treasurer, Isaac Szell-Barry; member-at-large, Joseph Garrera, executive director of Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, Allentown.
The positions of secretary and two members-at-large are still available. If interested or you would like to nominate someone, email Carrie Ballek at darcarrie2005@yahoo.com.

Catasauqua Club, 226 Pine St., will be holding its breakfast brunch 9 a.m.-noon March 18.
The menu includes eggs, bacon, ham, sausage, crepes, French toast, potatoes, soup, fruit cup and drinks. Eggs Benedict and omelets made to order will also be available.

St. Mary’s Parish Center, 122 Union St., will be having a basket social 6-9 p.m. March 23; 9 a.m.-6 p.m. March 24; and 9 a.m.-1 p.m. March 25.
Tickets will be on sale at the door for a sheet of 26 chances. Advance tickets must by purchased by March 18.
There will be more than 200 baskets, plus gift cards and specials. The kitchen will be open.
Proceeds from the event benefit St. Mary’s religious education program. You do not have to be present to win.
