Carolyn M. Rumpf, 79, of Whitehall, died March 9, 2018, at Renaissance Senior Living, Northampton. She was the wife of the late Richard D. Rumpf.

Born in West Reading, she was the daughter of the late George E. and Mildred (Lamm) Bagenstose.

She was a member of Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, Whitehall.

She was employed as an instrument technician at Reading Hospital for 32 years, retiring in 2001.

She is survived by four sons, Donald and his wife Marianne of Whitehall, Curtis of Birdsboro, Robert and his wife Kathy of Lancaster and Steven and his wife Cathy of Birdsboro; a daughter, Susan and her husband Todd Swartz of Birdsboro; 14 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and one due in June.

There will be a calling period 9-10 a.m. March 17 with a 10 a.m. memorial service following, both at the church, 3355 MacArthur Road, Whitehall.
