Sadie M.J. Chabak, 91, of Northampton, died Feb. 27, 2018, at home. She was the wife of the late George M. Chabak.

Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Frack and the late Hilda (Beil) Frack.

She attended Northampton High School.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former Universal Pants Factory for 30 years until its closing and then worked at Cross Country Clothes for five years until she retired in 1988.

She was a member of Grace United Church of Christ, Northampton.

She was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Walnutport.

She is survived by a son, George and his wife Janis of Birdsboro; a daughter, Jean F. and her husband Elmer Faust of Northampton; and two grandchildren, David and his wife Marcia Chabak of Midland, Texas, and Amy Beth Chabak of Birdsboro.

She was predeceased by a brother, Oliver Frack; and a sister, Dorothea Heistand.
