Bernadine “Bernie” C. Bednar, 91, of Bethlehem, died Feb. 22, 2018, at Holy Family Manor. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Sabota) Kuruc. She was the wife of the late Kenneth Bednar.

She worked for Western Electric for 32 years until she retired in 1987.

She was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish.

She was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokol and of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Associations.

She is survived by a son, Stephen and his wife Mary Ann of Bethlehem; two grandsons, Dan of Dallas, Texas and Dave and his wife Jamie of Bethlehem; and two great-grandchildren, Reagan and Parker.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Cynthia; two brothers, Joseph and Andrew; and two sisters, Agnes and Margaret.
