VALLEY- Med cabinet cleanout March 11

District Attorney Jim Martin is asking citizens to clean out their medicine cabinets when they change their clocks for Daylight Savings Time on March 11.

Residents should take this opportunity to identify and dispose of unused and expired prescription and over-the-counter medications, some of which can be both dangerous and addictive.

Medications may be disposed of at the following locations: Bethlehem Police Department, 10 East Church St., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.; visitors entering the City Hall location should advise the front desk that they are going to the Police Department to discard unwanted medications. Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, 2545 Schoenersville Road.

Upper Saucon Township Police Department, 5500 Camp Meeting Road, Center Valley. Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 4 p.m.
