Join us the first Tuesday of every month for Creation Station Club. Open to kids of all ages to learn how to build, share and create, it is held 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the community room.

Construction play teaches children to problem solve, connect socially, understand and be inquisitive in their play. Playing with no specific set purpose or limitations allows children to use the full force of their imaginations.

The library will have special hours for staff training March 9. We will be open 1-6 p.m. We will be closed all day March 16 for additional training.

We will be changing our catalog and circulation system at the library in April. Plan ahead to get your books and movies for the days we are closed. Watch for information about our new system, called SPARK.

If you would like a copy of your loan history from the current system, please ask at the front desk, and we will print it off for you. This will show the items you have checked out the past year.

We are excited to join the 10 other libraries in Lehigh and Carbon counties. The new system for us will be the Lehigh Carbon Library Consortium (LCLC), which would include Catasauqua, Coplay, Dimmick, Emmaus, Lehighton, Lower Macungie, Palmerton, Parkland, Slatington, Southern Lehigh and Whitehall. So between April and October 2018, these libraries will join together in a cooperative library system.
