Steven G. Smith, 61, of Northampton, died Feb. 12, 2018, in Port Richey, Fla. He was the husband of Susan (Kerbacher) Smith for 37 years.

Born in Baltimore, Md., he was a son of the late Herbert and Nancy L. (Lange) Smith.

He was a 1974 graduate of Northampton Area High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from East Stroudsburg University.

He was a self-employed carpenter.

He was a member of Zion Stone United Church of Christ.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Susan Young; a brother, Mark and his wife Lisa; two nephews, Kyle and Colin; a niece, Alyssa; a mother-in-law, Nancy Kerbacher; and a sister-in-law, Janet Kerbacher.
