Russel N. Druckenmiller, 88, of Allentown, died Feb. 22, 2018, at home. He was the husband of the late Josephine (David) Druckenmiller.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Harry and Helen (Harwick) Druckenmiller.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

He worked for many years in the composing room of The Morning Call until he retired in the 1990s.

He played for the Allentown Patriots Old Timers softball team.

He was a member of the Howard L. Peter AML Post 576, Allentown, and the Mercantile Club, Emmaus.

He is survived by a son, Richard and his wife Audrey of Zionsville; two daughters Donna, wife of the late Mitchell Hunter of Effort and Ginny Stilo and her partner Brenda Fritzinger of Allentown; three granddaughters, Heather, Jamie and Lena; and six great-grandchildren Dakotah, Cayden, Avery, Shane, Addisyn and Jane.

He was predeceased by brothers and sisters.
