Roger G. Malitzki Jr., 52, of North Whitehall Township, died Feb. 24, 2018. He was the husband of Christine L. (Kern) Malitzki for 19 years.

Born in Fountain Hill, he was a son of Roger G. Sr. and Sandra (Shannon) Malitzki of Bethlehem Township.

He was a 1984 graduate of Freedom High School.

He was formerly employed by Covenant Security and was a security guard at Crayola’s Forks Township and Bethlehem locations.

He was a member of Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, Emanuelsville.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two children, Jacqueline and Jacob, both at home; three brothers, Randy and his wife Lauren of Towson, Md., Warren and his wife Kim of Fayetteville, N.C., and Robert and his wife Veronica of Fountain Hill; mother-in-law, Barbara (Trach) Kern of Nazareth; two sisters-in-law, Stephanie and her husband Scott Happel of Jeffersonville, Ind., and Karen and her husband Jamie Rogers of Trenton, N.J.; and 10 nieces and nephews, Hannah, Sarah, Katie, Tyler, Gabriel, Julianne, Jonathan, Alyssa, Tyler and Logan.

He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Douglas Kern.

There will be calling hours 6-8 p.m. March 1 and 10-11 a.m. March 2 with services starting 11 a.m. March 2, all at the funeral home, 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Bath.
