Frances I. Alban, 84, of Whitehall, died Feb. 22, 2018, in her home. She was the wife of Joseph A. Alban for 63 years.
Born in Danby, Vt., she was a daughter of the late Jerome and Irene (Raymond) LaMoria.
She was a graduate of Rutland High School, Vt.
She was in the U.S. Air Force.
She was, for many years, a head cook with the Whitehall School District.
She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
She was a member of the Whitehall Woman’s Club.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Joseph III and his wife Susan of Whitehall, David of Bath and Ralph of Walnutport; two daughters, Anette and husband John Velekei of Whitehall and Diane Alban Knotek of Allentown; a brother, Norman LaMoria of New Fane, Vt.; 12 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Raymond; and a sister, Gayle.
