Earl Wuchter, 88, of North Catasauqua, died Feb. 23, 2018, at Sacred Heart Senior Living, Northampton. He was the husband of the late Eleanor M. Wuchter for 61 years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Earl M. and Elsie S. (Bretz) Wuchter.
He was an Allentown High School graduate.
He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He worked in the research and development department at Bethlehem Steel until he retired.
He was a former member of the Allentown Chess Club. He was a bicyclist and a member of the Lehigh Wheelmen.
He is survived by a son, Kenneth and his wife Lissa; two daughters, Carol Wuchter and Linda Powell and her fiancé Wayne; a sister, Florence Coleman of Connecticut; a brother, Robert of New Mexico; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; nieces; and nephews.
He predeceased by two brothers, David and James Wuchter.
