Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.

FEB. 5

In the 700 block of Limestone Street, a dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend occurred.

The department received a report of an animal carcass in the 200 block of Canal Street.

Police responded to a noise complaint in the 200 block of Wood Street.

At Hartzell’s Pharmacy Inc., 300 American St., police sought information.

On Second Street, officers investigated a report of a loud noise. Officers were unable to locate the cause.

FEB. 6

A disorderly group in the 400 block of Front Street was reported to the department.

A hit and run occurred in the 600 block of Howertown Road. A vehicle was damaged.

At Loving Hearts Child Care Center, 117 Pine St., an alarm sounded. All was secure, police said.

FEB. 7

An officer was injured when he/she fell on ice while chasing a juvenile in the 100 block of Walnut Street.

Warnings were issued when police investigated a parking complaint at Cathy’s Creative Catering, 752 Front St.

Police responded to a juvenile complaint in the 100 block of Walnut Street. The investigation is continuing.

At Apartments for the Elderly, 118 Bridge St., officers assisted a citizen.

A vehicle was tagged in the 400 block of Bridge Street.

In the 500 block of Race Street, officers investigated a complaint of snow. Police were unable to locate the situation.

At the department, 90 Bridge St., officers served a warrant for Northampton County Adult Probation.

FEB. 8

On Railroad Street, officers assisted a citizen and searched for a missing person.

At Catasauqua Highrise, 534 Third St., officers investigated a noise complaint. There was no answer at the door, police said.

The theft of services for cab fare in the 100 block of Second Street was reported.

FEB. 9

A dispute between a neighbor and contractor occurred in the 300 block of Church Street. The situation was reportedly resolved.

Police sought vehicle repossession information in the 700 block of Front Street.

A juvenile was reported missing in the 300 block of Bridge Street. The individual returned home.

On Bridge Street, police responded to a report of a disabled vehicle.

In the 200 block of Second Street, a dispute between a mother and son occurred.

An issue between a mother and son occurred in the 100 block of Wood Street.

A hit and run occurred to a parked vehicle, which had minor damage, in the 100 block of Front Street.

An issue between a mother and son occurred in the 200 block of Second Street.

A resident was warned for a noise complaint in the 700 block of Front Street.

At Apartments for the Elderly, 118 Bridge St., officers assisted a citizen.

A dispute between a mother and son occurred in the 400 block of Front Street.

Police investigated a civil matter in the 300 block of Second Street.

FEB. 12

A hit and run occurred at Suburban North Family YMCA, 880 Walnut St. A parked vehicle was damaged.

FEB. 13

Officers conducted a welfare check on Lehigh Street. Members of the department were unable to locate a situation or individual.

In the 900 block of Race Street, police responded to an alarm. The area was secure.

A juvenile was reported missing in the 200 block of Second Street. The individual was located.

FEB. 14

Police investigated an animal complaint of a cat in a tree in the 500 block of Church Street.

A dog barking in the 300 block of Liberty Street brought police to the scene.

Vincent Thomas, 32, of Catasauqua, was arrested for simple assault, physical harassment and contact and the unauthorized use of a motor vehicle in the 700 block of Crane Street. The department said the case is under investigation.

At Cathy’s Creative Catering, 752 Front St., police investigated a parking complaint. The vehicle was moved upon arrival.

In the 700 block of Limestone Street, officers conducted a welfare check.

FEB. 15

In the 200 block of Bridge Street, William Dinbokowitz, 70, of Whitehall, was arrested for obstruction administration of law or other government function, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

A Megan’s Law registration occurred at Silver Manor, 2 Front St.

Police sought vehicle repossession information in the 400 block of Second Street.

Officers assisted Pennsylvania State Police in the 1500 block of East Race Street.

An individual with mental health issues caused a disturbance on Howertown Road.

At Apartments for the Elderly, 118 Bridge St., officers assisted with the report of a fire.

On Covington Place, officers investigated a noise complaint. The music was turned off and the owner warned.

At Catty Mart, 547 Front St., police conducted a welfare check on an intoxicated female.

FEB. 16

In the 100 block of Bridge Street, officers investigated a harassment complaint.

On Race Street, police responded to a report of a reckless driver, who was gone upon arrival.

In the 100 block of Second Street, a vehicle was ticketed.

A problem between neighbors occurred in the 100 block of Bridge Street.

FEB. 17

On Church Street, officers checked the area after a juvenile complaint. The individual could not be found.

A dog was transported to the humane society from the 700 block of Fifth Street.

An alarm sounded at Loving Hearts Child Care Center, 117 Pine St. All was secure.

Police were asked to check on a dog in the 700 block of Race Street. The dog was gone upon arrival.

FEB. 18

Harassment by an ex-husband occurred in the 100 block of Mulberry Street.

In the 300 block of Race Street, a vehicle was stuck in the mud. A tow truck was called.

At Hartzell’s Pharmacy Inc., 300 American St., officers investigated a noise complaint from a snow-removal company. The noise was not excessive, the department said.

Officers picked up a suspect on a Catasauqua warrant in the 400 block of South Lincoln Avenue.

At Sheckler Elementary School, 201 N. 14th St., a hazardous condition brought police to the scene. The report said a pipe was leaking.

FEB. 19

In the 200 block of Church Street, officers checked on the welfare of a juvenile, who was waiting for a parent.

Tires were damaged in the 300 block of Front Street.

Police assisted a citizen in the 300 block of Wood Street with a custody exchange.

FEB. 20

On North 11th Street, an abandoned vehicle was tagged.

In the 100 block of Mulberry Street, police assisted Whitehall officers.

Members of the department sought information regarding a dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at Tony’s Top Cat Bar, 607 Front St.

In the 300 block of Church Street, a civil matter brought police to the scene. Police said a custody dispute occurred.

Police investigated a burglary in the 700 block of Bethlehem Road. An elderly female with mental health issues was involved.

In the 300 block of Union Street, police assisted a citizen and referred him or her to an attorney.

Officers assisted North Catasauqua police with a vehicle stop on Third Street.

Suspicious activity in the 300 block of Front Street was reported.

Members of the department assisted Allentown police in the 900 block of Union Boulevard.

FEB. 21

In the 500 block of Pine Street, a juvenile problem occurred.

Information was provided in the 200 block of Front Street.

Police assisted Whitehall officers on West Race Street with a report of a crash.

At Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., a harassment case was investigated.

In the 200 block of Wood Street, a parking complaint brought out police.

Police stood by for a property exchange in the 100 block of Second Street.

An animal complaint in the 600 block of Railroad Street was reported to police.

A driver was cited in the 200 block of Race Street.

FEB. 22

A reportable motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles occurred on Race Street, police said.

Outside Cambridge Early Learning Center, 325 Lehigh St., an animal was struck.
