Kevin H. McGivney, 73, of Whitehall and formerly of Long Island, N.Y., died Feb. 12, 2018. He was the husband of Ginny McGivney for 50 years.

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y.

He was a sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and was a Bronze Star recipient.

He was a businessman.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Kevin and Suzanne and her husband John Heym Jr.; and five grandchildren, John III, Jack, Marlie, Ryan and Tyler.
