Karen Rae Hart, 69, of Coplay, died Feb. 17, 2018, in her home. She was the wife of Dale A. Hart for 49 years.

Born in Smithfield, she was a daughter of Dolores (Stone) Smith and the late Ray Smith.

She was a graduate of Bucknell School of Banking.

She was an assistant vice president of Wells Fargo Bank, Whitehall, for 32 years until she retired. She was a secretary for the Lehigh Chamber of Commerce.

She was a judge for the Miss Pennsylvania pageant. She was a member of the Coplay Parkway Board.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two daughters, Lori and her husband Gregory Covell and Lisa and her fiance Rick Decker; five brothers, Gary, Ray, Larry, Jeff and Robert; five sisters, Vivian, Connie, Rhonda, Janice and Judy, who donated a kidney to her 10 years ago; and two grandchildren, Rhyannon and Jeremi.

She was predeceased by two brothers.

There will be a calling hour 4-5 p.m., followed by a memorial service 5 p.m., both Feb. 22 at the funeral home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay, 18037.
