Caroline E. Rennig, 93, of Coplay, died Feb. 16, 2018, at Lehigh Center Genesis Elder Care, Macungie. She was the wife of the late Victor H. Renning.

Born in Cementon, she was a daughter of the late Michael Check and the late Mary (Kasprik) Check.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Stiles.

She was a member of the Coplay Saengerbund. She bowled previously in a women’s league at the Allentown Rose Bowl.

She is survived by three sons, Peter and his wife Joy of Coplay, Michael and his wife Linda and Stephen and his wife Diane, all of Whitehall; a daughter, Victoria and her husband Jeff Clapper of Whitehall; a sister, Margaret Sperlbaum of Northampton; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Andrew; and three brothers, Michael, Emil and Albert.
