Ward C. Dean Sr., 87, of Bath and formerly of Bethlehem, died Feb. 7, 2018, at Alexandria Manor, Bath. He was the husband of the late Faith E. (Finn) Dean.

Born in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., he was a son of the late Emma (Bryan) Call and Charles Call Sr.

He was a staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

He was a foreman at Lone Star Cement Company for 40 years until he retired in1994.

He was of the Methodist faith.

He was a Master Mason of the Masonic Blue Lodge, Hudson, N.Y.

He is survived by three sons, Ward C. Jr. and his wife Kathy of Bethlehem, David F. and his wife Karen of Danielsville and Mark J. and his wife MaryAnn of Northampton; a brother, Charles Call of AIken, S.C.; a sister, Barbara Supplee of Valley Township; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Cindy Kasten; and a sister, Joan (Call) Macher.
