Bethlehem Brew Works new head brewer Christopher Bowen had the pleasure of exchanging a number of small talks and many smiles with the late Elizabeth “Liz” Rivera “ over the past decade and asked to create his first beer in her honor.
A portion of the proceeds from this beer is being donated to ArtsQuest in her memory to be used for art scholarships at The Banana Factory for local children. Many have purchased her crafts and potholders and Bethlehem Brew Works wanted to honor her passion that connected her to so many in the community.
This New England Style IPA is dedicated to her unwavering spirit and tenacity to cope with the difficulties of homelessness.
Brewed with Pale, Wheat, and a balance of Oats. Citra hops provide a fruity hop flavor and aroma, then it is dry hopped with large amounts of tropical Mandarina Bavaria hops for a bouquet of aroma!
