Richard C. Hoch II, 64, of Bloomsburg, died Jan. 22, 2018, at Geisinger Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Debra J. (Dreese) Hoch for eight years.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of Louise (Derby) Hoch and the late Richard C. Hoch Sr.
He was a 1971 graduate of Whitehall High School. He attended Mansfield University and Northampton Community College of Culinary Arts and earned an associate degree.
He worked at GAF/Tarkett, Woods Dining Service at Muhlenberg College and was a department administrator at Cabella’s, Hamburg.
He was a lifetime member of Fullerton Fire Company and a member of both the Single Action Shooting Society and of the Society for Creative Anachronism.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a son, Ryan Lee of Philadelphia; five sisters, Debbie and her husband Tom Hennessy of Clemson, S.C., Tami and her husband Jimmy Jones of Allentown, Dona Hoch and Paula and her husband Tom McMahon, all of Phoenix, Ariz., and Louise and her husband Tom Sullivan of Amarillo, Texas; nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.
