Salem United Church of Christ, 615 Third St., will be having a soup, salad and sweets event 4-6 p.m. Feb. 10. The soups are ham and string bean, chili, beef vegetable, potato, chicken corn chowder and chicken orzo.

This is an all-you-can-eat dinner complete with salads and desserts. Takeout is also available.

Just a reminder that the Woman’s Club of Catasauqua will be having a lively new program, “Living on a Shoestring with Fashions and Food,” starting 6 p.m. Feb. 15 at Salem UCC.

Some of the club members will be modeling clothes from Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, where many members volunteer.

Heidi and John Brubaker will provide a meal.

The public is welcome to join the group for the event.
