The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) first-ever PennDOT Innovations Challenge will run through Feb. 16.

For the competition, teams of students in ninth through 11th grade will submit problem-solving, creative and strategic-thinking abilities to solve real-world transportation challenges.
