Whitehall library: Card-making event is Feb. 7
Mark your calendar for Feb. 7. We will have a valentine card-making session 6-8 p.m. in the reference area.
We will be making Valentine’s Day cards to take to Fellowship Community and other senior centers. We are asking kids and adults both to stop by and create cards. We have all of the necessary supplies.
If anyone would like to donate cards, please drop them off at the library.

Reminder: Join us on the first Tuesday of every month for Creation Station Club. This is open to kids of all ages. The program is 6:30-7:30 p.m. We will meet Feb. 6, March 6 and April 2.
Construction play teaches children to problem-solve, connect socially, understand and be inquisitive in their play. Play with no specific set purpose or limitations allows children to use the full force of their imaginations. Also, building something gives children immense satisfaction and a feeling of accomplishment, which is great for their confidence and sense of independence.

We have a new program for children called Simply Play, held 1 p.m. Wednesdays. We will meet Feb. 7, 14, 21 and 28.
The program is learning through playtime and the new creative toys that we received with a grant. Legos and other items are available, and stories will be read, too.

The Whitehall Township Public Library will be acting as one of the collection centers. Bring in clean, new socks of any size, style or color.
