Duane J. Carl, 57, of Walnutport, died Jan. 21, 2018, at his home. He was the husband of Tammy (Sturdik) Carl.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Harry Carl and Germaine (Bonjean) Carl.

He was a Liberty High School graduate.

He was employed by Arden Courts.

He was a member of the Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club, Northampton.

He is survived by three sons, Christopher and Michael of Allentown and Shawn R. of Walnutport; a daughter, April M. of Topton; a stepson, James Sturdik of Danielsville; a stepdaughter, Jessica Moyer of South Park; two brothers, Kevin and his wife Nicole Carl of Northampton and Kerry and his wife Lori of Bethlehem; two sisters, Linda and her husband William Kunsman and Eileen Carl, all of Bethlehem; and nine grandchildren.
