Reminder for parents and guardians: Check your parent portal for the latest information, which for some schools includes monthly newsletters. Here you will also be able to access your child’s report cards.

They have been available for your review since Jan. 29.

A presentation on full-day kindergarten is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 13. It will be held in Whitehall High School’s LGI room.

The presentation will discuss the benefits and financial implications to the Whitehall-Coplay community.

There is a snow date of Feb. 15.

Mark your calendar for upcoming days off. Schools will be closed for the Presidents Day observance. There will be no school Feb. 16 and 19.

In the event there is an additional snow day prior to this, Feb. 16 will be a snow makeup day. Watch this column for updates.

The Zephyr Pride Foundation is sponsoring a bus trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show March 3.

The bus will leave the Whitehall High School parking lot 9 a.m. and arrive at the Philadelphia Convention Center approximately 10:30 a.m. The bus will leave Philadelphia 3:30 p.m. and arrive back in Whitehall around 5 p.m. For more information, cost and tickets, call Rick at 484-347-8027 or email zephyrpridefoundation@gmail.com.
