Northwestern Elementary

The Boosterthon assembly is scheduled for 2 p.m. Jan. 30.

The Boosterthon Fun Run will taking place throughout the day on Feb. 8.

Students will be raising funds for use in their school before the Fun Run.

Weisenberg Elementary

There is an artist-in-residence coming to Weisenberg Feb. 1-14.

Carin Frost Olmstead of New Jersey will work with the students to create a mural outside the cafeteria.

The theme will be “What is it like to be a Weisenberg student.”

The mural will be dedicated 6-8 p.m. on March 22 at the Festival of the Arts.

The 2017 high school Gift of Giving program was a success.

The high school counseling office says thank you to the many Santa’s helpers from all over the community who donated gift cards to their neighbors.

The high school received $1,575 worth of gift cards and 60 families were touched with an extra sprinkle of holiday spirit.
