Northampton police responded to these and other calls recently.
JAN. 1
Criminal mischief in the 900 block of Main Street occurred. The report said the taillights of a legally parked vehicle were smashed.
JAN. 2
Police served an emergency protection-from-abuse order in the 500 block of East 11th Street.
A civil matter brought officers to the 300 block of Main Street.
JAN. 3
Officers responded to a report of harassment in the 1800 block of Main Street.
JAN. 5
A hit and run occurred in the 1700 block of Main Street. A dark-colored SUV or pickup truck with a cap on the back struck the driver-side mirror of a legally parked vehicle. The offending vehicle continued north on Main Street.

At East 21st Street and Northampton Avenue, a reportable accident involving two vehicles brought police to the scene.
JAN. 7
A report in the 800 block of Washington Avenue involved a male and a female causing a disturbance.
JAN. 8
Police said a domestic dispute between a male and female in the 2200 block of Main Street occurred.

The department received a report of a female causing a disturbance in the 2200 block of Siegfried Avenue.
A suspicious male in the 1600 block of Main Street was reported.
At Main and 24th streets, a reportable accident involving two vehicles occurred.

At Wine and Spirits Shoppe, 1910 Center St., the department received a report of a female shoplifting.
A reportable accident at Center Street and Lilac Court involved two vehicles.
