Mary P. Reichl, 83, of Whitehall, died Jan. 14, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late Gustave “Gus” C. Reichl.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late Alois and Mary (Schrantz) Recker.

She was a teacher’s aide for Whitehall-Coplay School District for many years.

She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.

She volunteered for years with the church at the Ecumenical Soup Kitchen of Allentown.

She is survived by a son, Jeffrey and his wife Judy; three daughters, Donna and her husband Mark Woods, Karen and her husband Joseph Bene and Michelle and her husband Salvador Espinosa; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; an expected great-grandchild; two sisters, Anna Edelman and Carol and her husband Joseph Correia; and a brother, Al Recker.

Contributions may be made to the church, c/o the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton.
