D. Luther George, 89, of Allentown, died Jan. 19, 2018, at Heather Glen Senior Living. He was the husband of the late Darlene F. George.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Clarence J. and Mabel George.

He was in the U.S. Naval Reserve.

He and his late brother built custom homes for more than 50 years.

He was member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Northampton.

He is survived by nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Clarence “Bud” H. George.
