Catasauqua American Legion, 330 Second St., will be holding its first-of-the-year all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Jan. 28.
Served will be eggs, bacon, sausage links, SOS, home fries, French toast, juice, coffee and tea.

St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 417 Howertown Road, is hosting a gift card and cash bingo 2 p.m. Jan. 28.
The doors open 12:30 p.m., and food will be available to purchase.
There will be 20 games. Tickets will be available at the door. Tickets can also be purchased for the 50/50 cash coverall.
Prizes consist of $25 gift cards, and there will be four $50 prizes for cash games.
Proceeds will benefit the general fund and a local charity.

The George Taylor House is planning to offer training classes for volunteer tour guides/docents for the 2018 season, beginning in February.
If you have an interest in history and would like to pass on the history of this national historic site to visitors, call 484-240-1034.
No experience is required; training will be provided.
