Salisbury Middle School will hold its winter semi-formal dance 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 19.

Can you believe we are almost halfway through this school year already? Jan. 22 is the end of the second marking period for the middle school and high school students.

The Western Salisbury Elementary School PTA will hold its monthly restaurant night 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 25 at Louie’s restaurant.

Salisbury Township schools will have an early dismissal Jan. 26. WSE and Harry S Truman Elementary School will dismiss 11:15 a.m., while the middle school and high school dismiss 12:15 p.m.

The next Coffee and Conversation with administrators will be held 6 to 6:45 p.m. Jan. 29 at HST. If attending, please RSVP to Mary Bishop at mbishop@salisburysd.org.

A curriculum and technology committee meeting will be held 7 p.m. Jan. 29, also at HST.

The fifth grade class of Western Salisbury Elementary School is learning all about the different systems in the human body. To bring that learning to life, they are sponsoring a blood drive through Miller-Keystone Blood Center 1 to 7 p.m. Feb. 8 at the school. Due to the snow day Jan. 4, all Salisbury Township schools will be open Feb. 16 for a make-up day.
