Lois G. Schisler, 88, of State College, died Jan. 5, 2018, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. She was the wife of Lee C. Schisler for 66 years.

Born in Milesburg, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Hannah Sprankle Green.

She was a 1947 graduate of State College High School and was still active with the class reunion committee.

She was a secretary to the principal at State College High School. She then worked for Ralph M. Parsons Company, Frederick, Md.

She was a member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and of the church women’s society.

She was a volunteer librarian at Corl Street School and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Lee C. Jr. of Tyrone and David A. and his wife Carolyn of Morton, Ill.; two grandchildren, Andrew and Natalie Schisler; and one sister, Arlene Learn of Davis, Calif.
