Harold W. Fabian, 97, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 9, 2018, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Arlene M. (Ritter) Fabian.
Born in North Saucon Township, he was a son of the late Warren and Eva (Moyer) Fabian.
He was a self-employed farmer for 45 years and operated Camel’s Hump Farm, Bethlehem Township, until he retired in 1987.
He was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Hecktown, where he was a former council member for 24 years and president of the church property committee for 45 years.
He was on the Lehigh Valley Co-op Dairy board and on the Northampton County ASCS committee, both for six years; was a past treasurer for the 4-H Center Northampton County for five years; served as a past president of the Northampton County Agriculture Extension for two years; and was active with the Northampton County Farm Bureau for many years. He was a past president of the Muhlenberg Hospital summer festival for 25 years.
He is survived by a daughter, Grace M. and her husband John Marko of Northampton; two brothers, Ernest of Meyerstown and Roy and his wife Shirley of Bethlehem; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Sterling W.; four sisters, Marion Knecht, Mabel Newhard, Alma Miller and Arlene Hagley; and a brother, Howard.
