Donald A. Stephen, 86, of Macungie, died Jan. 11, 2018, in St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born in Minesite, he was the son of the late Alvin O.J. and Effie H. (Hilbert) Stephen.

He was a 1949 graduate of Emmaus High School.

He was a carpenter for Alvin O.J. Stephen for 35 years; a member of Carpenter’s Union Local 600 and later worked part time for Lexus of the Lehigh Valley during retirement.

He was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, serving as a Sunday school superintendent.

He was a past member of Lehigh Lodge #677 F&AM and the Emmaus Lions Club, member of the Macungie Golf League and the Saturday morning golf league at Wedgewood Golf Course, Coopersburg.

He is survived by a brother, Alvin M. and his wife Linda, of Allentown; sister, Sheila, of Breinigsville; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by siblings, Lloyd E.J., Larry R., Kenneth, Nancy Schwindenhammer and Barbara.
