Rita A. Kapun, 66, of Bethlehem, died suddenly on Jan. 3, 2017. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Casmir and Helen (Bednarik) Szczepanski. She was the wife of Edward J. Kapun for 42 years.

She was a parishioner of Incarnation of Our Lord Church, and was active in the seniors group and activities of the parish.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Matthew S. of Hellertown; a daughter, Marie N. and her husband Chris Embardino of Lancaster; a sister, Rosemarie Szczepanski; and two brothers, Joseph Szczepanski, and Thomas Szczepanski.

She was predeceased by a brother, John Szczepanski.
