Margit Ertl, 83, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 2, 2018, at Easton Hospital. Born in Rabatotfalu, Hungary, she was a daughter of the late Koroy and Elona (Shemenck) Domyan. She was the wife of the late John P. Ertl for 52 years.

After immigrating to the United States in 1958, she was a garment industry presser for 37 years in many Lehigh Valley area factories until she retired in 1996.

She was a member of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union.

She was previously a parishioner of St. John Capistrano Catholic Church and, more recently, of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

She is survived by sisters, Helen Pinter and Anna Kozo, both of Bethlehem, and Ebolya Domyan and Theresa Szakaly, and a brother, Karl Domyan all of Austria; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Joseph Domyan.
