For those of you who were wondering with bated breath whether or not I finished all my Christmas prep on time… Yes, I did! I had to delegate things I normally do myself, like decorate the Christmas tree (thank you Justus and Bri) and coerce, I mean ask other family members to help wrap, bake and clean. But it all got done before the strike of midnight on Christmas Eve. Woo Hoo!
Salisbury High School will hold its Winter Ball 7 to 10 p.m. Jan. 13 in the high school gym. I hope it warms up a bit for those girls in their pretty dresses.
Salisbury Township schools are closed Jan. 15 for a teacher professional development day.
Western Salisbury Elementary School invites the parents and guardians of fourth grade students to lunch Jan. 9. Fourth grade lunch starts promptly 12:05 p.m. The district asks guests to purchase lunch to experience the new food service provider’s offerings.
Christmas trees will be collected during the month of January on either of your regular garbage pick-up days. Any tree over 10 feet must be cut in half.
An operations committee meeting will be held 7 p.m. Jan. 8 in the administration building.
The monthly school board meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. Jan 17 in the administration building.
