Roy A. Agostinelli, 87, of Whitehall, died Dec. 27, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Alice (Krouchick) Agostinelli of Whitehall.

Born in Scranton, he was a son of the late Angelo and Lena (Cianfichi) Agostinelli.

He was a medic assigned to an artillery unit in the army during the Korean War. After being wounded in action, he helped at a MASH unit.

He was a machinist for 34 years for AT&T and retired in 1994.

He was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, Stiles, where he was the former vice president of the Holy Name Society and was an usher.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Richard, with whom he resided.
