John F. Toth, 77, of Northampton, died Dec. 28, 2017, in his home. He was the husband of Barbara (Covely) Toth for 52 years.

Born in Moore Township, he was a son of the late John C. and Anna T. (Steier) Toth.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He was a process analyst for 34 years at Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technology until he retired in 2002.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

He was a member of both the Coplay and Lehigh Saengerbund and was a life member of Northampton Liederkranz.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, John, Jeffrey and his wife Kimberly, Stephen and his wife Thanh and Christopher and his husband Grant Carmichael; two grandchildren, Natalie and Ryan; a sister, Dorothy A. and her husband Richard S. Grois; nieces; and nephews.
