John Belshaw, 85, formerly of Coopersburg, died Dec. 27, 2017, at Fellowship Terrace, Whitehall. He was the husband of the late Jeanette “Tooty” Belshaw for 58 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Alexander and Agnes (McBriar) Belshaw.

He was a 1951 graduate of Bethlehem High School.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.

He was retired from the Macungie division of Mack Trucks.

He was a member of St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Allentown.

He is survived by two daughters, Joanne D. and her husband Mark S. Klatchak of Meshoppen and Jean M. and her husband Robert H. Bower Jr. of Emmaus; a granddaughter, Amy Bower; a sister, Mary Artis; and a brother, Alexander Belshaw.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Samuel and Edward Belshaw.

Visitation will begin 12:30 p.m. Jan. 5 in the Zentz Center, Fellowship Community, 3010 Fellowship Drive, Whitehall, 18052, followed by a 1 p.m. service.
