Larry Ritter, 81, of Bradenton, Fla., died Dec. 16, 2017. He was the husband of Gloria (Mullins) Ritter for 36 years.
Born in Egypt, he was a son of the late Samuel and Althea (Kern) Ritter.
He was a 1984 graduate of Whitehall High School and attended Lehigh Carbon Community College.
He was in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1959, earning a rank of radarman second class.
He was a mechanical engineer with General Electric for 28 years and Trane for 12 years. After retirement, he worked in maintenance for a Christian church and school in Florida.
He was a former member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Fullerton.
He was a volunteer fireman for Fogelsville Fire Company for 21 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Lori Brawn of Fogelsville, Lonnie Damiano of Wescosville, Sheri Huyter of Reigelsville and Cindy Tagliaterra of Whitehall; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by three daughters, Beverly Reiss, Vicki Rossetti and an infant.
