Donald M. Stofflet, 88, of Pittstown, N.J., died Dec. 17, 2017, at home. He was the husband of Jean A. (Christine) Stofflet for 66 years.
Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Mahlon J. and Estella B. (Merkle) Stofflet.
He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
He was a manager for IMC, formerly Trojan Powder Company, before he retired. He owned the former Progress Beer distributorship.
He was a member of St. John’s UCC, Mickleys.
He was a softball pitcher in the Allentown area and was the pitching coach for Whitehall High School girls softball team for 25 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a sister, Jean and her husband William Shoemaker.
He was predeceased by a son, Donald; five brothers; and six sisters.
