Gertrude H. Fodor, 88, of Northampton, died Dec. 11, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of the late John V. Fodor.

Born in Coplay, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Sickar) Kleinhoppel.

She was an examiner at the former Tama Manufacturing for many years.

She was a member of Queenship of Mary Roman Catholic Church and of the women’s guild.

She was a life member of both the Friendly Fifties and of the St. Peter and Paul Hungarian Society and a life and board member and past officer of the Catholic War Veterans Post 454 ladies auxiliary.

She is survived by three daughters, Rosann Hantz, Monica and her husband Stephen Fedorak and Maria Reimer; five grandchildren, Johnna, Edward, Stephen “Stip,” Christine and Justine; six great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; two stepsisters, Frances Rupinski and Mary Matika; and a family friend, John Hauck.
