St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., will be having a 6 p.m. Christmas Eve service Dec. 24. This service is filled with children singing, stories shared and much more. There will be soloists and time to sing Christmas carols.
There will also be a 9 p.m. sacred worship/holy communion service. This is a quieter and more reflective service. Special music will include the hand bell, jubilation and chancel choirs and soloists.
Candle lighting will be included during both services.

Oplatki, Christmas wafers, are now available at the parish office of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Fullerton Avenue.
Oplatki is a long-standing Christmas Eve tradition. It is a beautiful way to enhance your family’s spiritual Christmas experience.
There is a small price for a pack of five wafers.
The Christmas devotion, including prayers and history, are on the back of each envelope.
