Susan M. Charron, 68, of Lower Macungie Township, died Dec. 6, 2017, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Albert “Barney” E. Charron Sr. and Virgie M. (Green).

She worked in the ability development program at Kutztown University. She taught ESL at the Reading Literacy Council and was an associate professor in the humanity division at Reading Area Community College, from where she retired.

She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, Allentown.

She is survived by a daughter, Kate C. and her husband Thomas Hendricks Jr.; grandson, Ziven T. Hendricks; brother, Albert E. “Archie,” M.D. and his wife, Amy, M.D.; stepmother, LaMae E.; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Jackie Driscoll.
