Kevin J. Schlegel, 37, of Whitehall, died Dec. 4, 2017, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Amanda (Collins) Schlegel of Northampton.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Gerald L. Schlegel of Schnecksville and Christine A. (Shade) Schlegel of Keller, Texas.

He was an inspection supervisor for SimplexGrinnell where he worked for the past 12 years.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters, Kylie R. and Meghan E.; two sisters, Beth L. Walters of Justin, Texas, and Katie A. and her husband Juvencio Garcia of Keller, Texas; a father-in-law, Phillip S. Collins of Whitehall; a mother-in-law, Susan B. and her husband Harold Sell of Whitehall; and a brother-in-law, Jacob and his wife Jennifer Collins of Bethlehem.
